Filler to Reach the Minimum Word Count for Yoast

Yoast keeps complaining that the text on my “About” page is too short and that I should add an extra 100 words or so. Well, here we go – filler content mode on.

Content writing is as much about telling a story as it is about maximizing your chances of being discovered by search engines – especially Google. Content milling, in turn, is about efficiently generating often clichéd articles that serve no real purpose except as a vessel for the links you want to place. Do not mix the two up. Don’t expect a text with the only role of making a link contextual to have the ultimate quality. On the other hand, do not accept garbage either. Some “content writers” (and I use this term very generously) will deliver AI-generated text spun to confuse AI detector software. The end result is utter garbage that I would be ashamed to ask to be paid for.
